Scott Elliot Smith

Scott Elliot Smith attended the University of Kentucky for his undergraduate education and Ohio Northern University wherein he obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1981. As a student at Ohio Northern University, Mr. Smith earned the Willis Academic Scholarship in 1980, and was President of the Student Bar Association, College of Law 1980-1981.

Mr. Smith is licensed in both Ohio and Colorado and is a Board Certified Trial Advocate. He is admitted to practice in United States Supreme Court, Ohio Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Northern District, U.S. District Court for the Southern District, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and Colorado Supreme Court.

Mr. Smith is a member of numerous Legal Associations including Ohio State Bar Association, Member, Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, and Columbus Bar Association.

Mr. Smith obtained the largest personal injury jury verdict medical in Meigs County in 1997 and has been awarded 98% of of his jury trials where he was been the lead counsel.

When not practicing law, Scott has devoted his time to Special Olympics, cancer prevention and serving on various non-profit boards.
